KERA is a national non- governmental, non –profit voluntary environmental group that is dedicated to promoting the understanding and appreciation of the public towards the importance of conserving and protecting the wild life and natural resources of Kuwait. KERA group was established out of need for an independent research and environmental group that aims to increase the level of public environmental awareness, advocate environmental laws and promote regional research that will come to benefit the public as well as academic and researchers. KERA’s goals: - To increase the level of public awareness by serving governmental and non-governmental bodies including teachers and students to understand and conserve natural resources of Kuwait. - Support and undertake scientific research of a conservational and environmental perspective. - Advocate the formulation and implementation of environmental laws and policies that are needed to promote sustainable natural resources of Kuwait.
